International Engineering Exchange Programs |
|||
Students of today will, after graduation, face a working environment that assumes global mobility in the labour market. The inter and intra organisational environments are increasingly complex, fast changing and with more interdependencies. Firms have to compete and collaborate on a global scale and operate across national and international borders. Employees need to be able to utilise various and rich technological resources to increase both the organisational and their individual position in complex multicultural, dynamic and often unpredictable settings. UTS:Engineering is committed to producing graduates who are not only technically competent, but understand the requirements of professional practice and are confident in a practitioner role. An important part of this commitment is the need to direct students’ attention to the international and global aspects of modern engineering practice and to prepare them for this aspect of their professional life. Linking overseas study and work experiences is a key strategy in our approach to this task. In our educational programs, we seek to emphasize the international dimension of engineering and of professional development and practice. As part of the Bachelor of Engineering Diploma in Engineering Practice, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Arts in International Studies in Engineering Practice program, you can apply to study abroad for one or two semesters as an exchange student.
