Study Abroad Achievement Scholarships

UTS: Engineering offers one scholarship per semester worth A$1,000 to the highest achiever during their first semester as a Study Abroad (undergraduate or postgraduate) student. A Study Abroad student is a student who, whilst doing an award course at an overseas university, studies for one or two semesters at UTS.

This Scholarship does not apply to international students who are enrolled in a full BE or BEDipEngPrac.

The scholarship will be paid towards the student's second semester fee.

Eligibility

You must -

1.   be enrolled as a full-time international study abroad student in four subjects - three of which must be engineering subjects;

2.   apply to receive the fee reduction for your second semester by  the nominated date (see application form below);

3.   have achieved the highest average of all the applicants in your course with a minimum of seventy per cent;

4.    enrol in a minimum of three engineering subjects in the second semester.

If you satisfy all of the above, the faculty will pay A$1,000 directly towards your tuition fee for your second semester.
