The current Faculty EHS Action Plan outlines responsibilities, procedures and high risk hazard programs that the faculty needs to adhere to to satisfy legislative requirements. An important part of the action plan is ensuring risks are controlled throughout the faculty. The faculty laboratories are a high risk area. One procedure used to minimise the risk in the laboratories is to conduct safety inductions for staff and students. Any staff or students working unsupervised in the laboratory must have completed a safety induction. The current Safety Induction can be found here.
