Key Activities and Achievements |

UTS: Engineering is one of the most internationalised at UTS based on our activities, profile and student and staff diversity. Here are some of our key highlights and achievements:
> In 2008, 3053 undergraduate and 1167 postgraduate students are enrolled in courses. About 400 students study UTS: Engineering courses off-shore in Hong Kong and Singapore;
> The Master of Engineering Management is offered in English and Mandarin in Hong Kong and the Master of Environmental Engineering Management program is also offered in English in Hong Kong in conjunction with the Hong Kong Management Association;
> The Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Science & Bachelor of Engineering Science (Aerospace Operations) is offered offshore in Singapore in conjunction with the Air Transport Training & Consultants (Singapore). The Bachelor of Engineering Science is also offered in Hong Kong;
> UTS: Engineering staff originate from various cultural backgrounds, with a number of languages, aside from English, spoken by Faculty staff;
> UTS: Engineering has a dedicated International & Development Office which provides expert advice and support to international students studying in Sydney and offshore;
> An agreement has been reached with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Karnataka, India, that students who have completed two years of study at the Manipal Academy can complete a UTS undergraduate Engineering degree in two years at UTS in Sydney. |
